Diploma in Automobile Engineering

Vision of Automobile Department:

The Automobile Industry today is set for a giant leap forward and this growth is being made in the realm of automotive technology. Our students receive comprehensive training in the areas of production, design, service and maintenance.

Course Contents:

In the Second year, the students are trained in Mechanics of Materials, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Manufacturing Process, Thermodynamics, Machine Shop Technologies, Automotive Engines, Autotronics and Auto CAD practices.

In the third year, the students are trained in Transmission Systems, Vehicle Body Engineering, CAD/CAM, Two & Three Wheeler Technologies, Management in Road Transport Organization etc. All students are required to do a project in their final semester for which out staff members guide them.

Department Library:

The department has a dedicated department library with 163 + books and CD's covering a wide range of latest subjects.

Facilities/Infrastructure:

The department of Automobile Engineering is equipped with latest machineries. We have Manatec Wheel Aligner, Wheel Balancer, Exhaust Gas Analyzer, CAD/CAM Lab with 24 Systems, LCD Projector, Over Head Projector for better Teaching and Learning.
